Lee Yee Shian is a senior software architect and principal engineer in the technology sector based in Singapore. She has designed complex software and led software delivery across multiple teams in multiple countries as an Agile Tribe Lead for companies like Microsoft, Accenture, Sony and Creative Technology. She has also led UX designers, run Design Thinking Workshops and Focus Groups research.
She first studied Computer Science in 1993, learning fundamentals and programming with Pascal, DBase4 on win 3.1 She continued her studies in computing at the National University of Singapore, and was awarded Dean’s List in 1996. She interned at Singapore Airlines, learning to build an inventory system with VB6 and Access SQL database.
Her passion was with music and pursued her interest at Creative Technology as an application developer for audio products. She was later the technical lead for numerous software applications released for 400 million Sound Blaster customers worldwide.
She continued diversifying her skills in developing innovative consumer applications across touch screens, laptops and even robots. She also focused on enterprise applications and architecture, working with businesses on their digital transformation journey.
Today she sits in the intersection of Technology, Business and User Experience. With 10+ patents under her belt, she seeks to innovate and push boundaries, enabling technology for people.
